Unlike other decks that run the cost 1 Tiki for her support check skill, Lyndis primarily relied on the cost 2 Sentimental Divine Dragon promotional card. Once per turn, Tiki's Voice of Naga ability can place a card directly from hand to the bond zone by reversing 2 existing bonds, bypassing the normal once-per-turn restriction on putting bonds into play. By using this ability it ensures that there will be at least four bonds in play at the beginning of the next deployment phase, as Tiki requires 2 bonds to play on her own. This allows her to level up into the cost 5 Manakete Princess as early as the fourth turn of the game instead of the fifth, in doing so becoming able to use Manakete Princess' skill to add her support check directly to the bond zone. Because this particular Tiki is blue and associated with the Awakening symbol, playing her with Manakete Princess is only possible through running a multicolor deck, giving the mixed option a leg up over pure Sword of Light decks that choose to run the cost 1 Tiki.
Fire Emblem Cipher's tournament scene is growing rapidly. At the time of this writing there are 626 shop tournaments scheduled for the month of July, taking place in 35 of Japan's 47 prefectures.
